Easiest Upcycled Dog TIE Ever!!!

Are you ready for this???

BRACE YOURSELF...

Instructions:
Have you ever noticed the end of a tie?  It's shaped like a mini tie.

I measured and cut the length I thought would look good on Sebastian (add an inch or more depending on the thickness of your dog's collar).  Make it longer for bigger dogs.

Since I know a lot of my readers do not sew, I decided to make this a no sew tutorial!  (Those who do sew can do a straight stitch in place of the glue as an option).

I used Tear Mender, which is some serious stuff!  Bend the top of the tie back leaving enough room for the collar to slip through the loop and glue into place.

Slip the collar through the loop.

If your dog is fluffy like Sebastian, it really doesn't matter if the collar clashes with the tie.  For short-haired dogs, you might want to coordinate the two!

I hope you enjoyed!!

XOXOXOXO,
Erika and Sebastian

I LOVE this one! My hubby has a lot of ties that he needs to donate, but I think I'll snag one for Gus. Your blog is so much fun!

Brilliant! I started making one for Kirby - I have a lovely white collar and never finished the tie so I found a little boy tie to use. This is even better! Kirby will be ready for Sunrise Service this Easter!!

Can I post this on my blog with full credit to you?

Very cute. I will need to make one for Pallo. Koira might get one too, if I can find a good color for her.

I forgot to come by and tell you about my post with my new tie and collar! I looks very sophisticated! :) - Kirby

I'm going to make a few of these for him too! For the days a hoodie just isn't appropriate. - Debby

OMG, that pup is so adorable!!!
I should make one for Pi.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful idea!
Pi will love it when she sees this!
(One problem: Pi is a girl Yorkie...and aren't neckties for males?)
Well, anyways, I guess I'll have to cut off my dad's necktie!~^^
