Last Minute DIY Halloween Costume - Cereal Killer!

Cereal Boxes - One size fits some.  HA!

This is such an easy costume anyone can make.  The longest part is waiting for the glue and blood to dry.

INSTRUCTIONS:

You'll need:
Cereal box
Scissors
Hot glue gun or Fabri-Tac glue
Black and silver paint
 Red 3D paint.

That's it!

Make sure you make those arm holes big enough.  This thing was a pain in the fluffy butt to get on and Sebastian wasn't too thrilled about it either.  Too bad models don't get to pick what they wear.  Hehe (evil momma laugh).

Happy Halloween from Sebastian

Sebastian and I had a blast yesterday at the Pumpkin Patch trying to determine which one he'd fit in just right.  Here's Sebastian posing with about 10 onlookers behind me.  He always causes a scene when he goes into model-mode.

Then we decided to take a few before photos with our chosen pumpkin incase our idea of sitting in the pumpkin didn't work out.  But as usual, Sebastian lives up to his rep.

Gettin' comfy.

Awe, look at those little feet!

DIY No-Sew Mini Dog Crown

I don't know why I have a tendency to tilt all of their hats to the side.  But isn't it cute?!?!  This is my new favorite hat.

We are clearly on a toilet paper roll "roll."  Get it?  ha!  There's so many little hats you can make from a toilet paper roll that there's no stopping us now.  This is also a no-sew tutorial, woohoo!  Anyone can do it.

You'll need: One toilet paper roll, scissors, hole punch, blue paint (or pink!!!), paint brush, gold glitter paint, white fur, rhinestones, and glue.

DIY Mini Sailor Hat

Well it's just a coincidence we happen to be posting this cute little sailor outfit on Columbus Day, aye? This is such an easy little Halloween costume to make and the hat base is made from a toilet paper roll.  Oh yeah!

You'll need: a toilet paper roll, some felt, staples, elastic string, and paint.

We traced the bottom of a wine bottle on the felt to get the circular shape.  The bottom of wine bottles are about 3" in diameter so it worked out perfectly!

DIY No Sew Dog Cape

You wont believe your eyes when you see how easy this cape is.  If you know how to cut and glue, you can make it!

INSTRUCTIONS:
This is basically a spin-off of one of our most popular tutorials: the Upcycled Dog Shirt Collar.

All you need:
- One human button-up shirt collar (same neck size as your dog's)
- One piece of felt or fleece (an 8.5"X11" piece will work for small dogs, or you can buy it by-the-yard at places like Joann's for bigger dogs)
- No Sew Fabric Glue (we used Aleene's and it works great!)
- Scissors
- Ruler

And that's it!

NOTE:  If you've ever made a cape for a dog before, you know how important a hole for the leash/harness is.  The cape will just fall to the side if you don't do this step.

XOXOXOXOXO,
Erika and Sebastian
